1st Grade: Origami

Under the Sea

First Grade students were introduced to origami. They loved folding the paper to create a fish. They decorated the fish with crayons and markers. Next, the students made an ocean by gluing down strips of paper. Students made sure they created waves by carefully curling the strips to puff up and create movement in the sea. Finally, details were added such as seaweed, coral, and an anchor.

Kindergarten: Reindeer

Next, they cut out the head and glued it to blue paper. They added details such as antlers, ears, eyes, a nose, and a bow. Finally, they painted with q-tips to create snow.
