Chinese Dragons
The second grade students spent a lot of time creating detailed dragons. This project combined art and math. The students cut pieces of construction paper to create a symmetrical dragon. Also, a ruler was used to measure the various peices of yarn used in the project.
The dragon is a symbol for:
good luck
strength
power
success
wealth
